WELL!!Exactly...and I do not want my house looking like that.
That's actually the look I'm going for. I've already exceeded the one closest to me by 30% at least.
I used to have a spare bedroom as my studio...drums, amps, pa, recording...but I gave it up (and fixed it up) for the arrival of my grandson. Now what I have for a bass room my wife calls the bedroom...it's all good though, love that little guy!

Yes. I've had one for years. Wherever I live, I always set up one room as "my office" and one corner of it is dedicated to my bass practice area.

There can be a room??? My basses have been LYING to me!!! They told my wife and I that WE had a room and THEY had a HOUSE?!?! Man, not cool basses.....

I used to, when I had places with multiple rooms. Right now I live in a 377sq ft studio apartment (by choice), so it's all the gear room! lol... Actually, I have a large shelving unit from IKEA splitting the room in two, actually feels bigger and there are two separate spaces, now
When I move to Australia, my music'ing area will be in a "hobby room"/study shared with my fiance's writing desk and painting easel.

Thanks guys. My wife and I were fortunate to get a much larger home than we needed at a tremendous price. That leaves me with enough space to claim the entire upstairs for all my instruments.
Hey, you still have one(1) P-bass (& maybe the Mustang) still awaiting a Bridge PUP.
Same deal here - wasn't planned. We just happen to have been getting ready to Brady Bunch 5 kids and 2 adults at the beginning of the economic crash. And even big houses out in the sticks go for less than in the city. It's a blessing I like being able to share with my bandmates considering how much some groups struggle to find space, any decent space.
