In a word.
No.
My second bass was a white Aria SB Elite I.
That was the ONLY white bass I have ever had.
I wanted natural.
They didn't have them available.

Are you happy with the American Pro? Some people have complaints with the vmod pickups and e string. I am considering to buy a P bass after selling my excess of equipment, however there are no other P basses other than American Pro and only 3 of them left in the "only shop" that sells them in my city. They are also highly expensive in my country, so i wanted to know if they really worth that money or should i pursue a used P bass if i can find any in a good condition.

Hey, didn't see your question answered so I figured I'd give it a shot. I have an American Pro 5 string. It's my first bass, so I don't have anything to compare it to... but it sounds awesome through my rig and I love it very much.

Whatever else one may think about it, a one-of-a-kind item like that is probably best left be.

I love white instruments. White with a single ply white guard, a dark tort guard, a single ply black guard, a real nitrate guard (not modern "mint" recreations), classic anodized aluminum gold guard, three ply or five ply black, all look great. The only guards I don't really dig on white instruments are multi ply white ones.

As far as white ones go, I have:

'76 Musicmaster Bass – yellowed white w/ three ply white guard
'85 MIJ Strat - cream white w/ three ply black guard (not stock guard)
AV '58 P - blonde w/ gold anodized aluminum
AV '64 J - Oly White w/ dark tort
AV '64 Tele - blonde w/ three ply white
Jimmy Page Mirror Tele - blonde w/ single ply white

And I am building a '55 hardtail Strat repro at the moment too, which will be painted the same white color as the single ply white guard.

I don't own any, and am not terribly likely to due to my affinity for visible grain in a bass finish, but white can look mighty fine. Particularly if there's some pearl or flake action going on.

One of my all time favorite looks is a fender with white paint, tort guard, and either maple or rosewood fingerboard. Love it.

The more opalescent, the better. As a basic color for an instrument, basic white shows up much better on stage than basic black, which IMO tends to recede into nothingness.

I painted an amber G&L L-2500 oly white nitro, even matched the headstock

I don't like'm paper white but sorta' creamy white (even with very little cream) is GREAT I own one of these, my first "white" (on the darker creamy side of it, I know).
