It’s been inked in my calender for months. Very much looking forward to it!
Obviously I won't be able to watch it, in Europe. I'll be waiting for the streaming option.
Stunningly good biography of Mr. Carter's life from a young boy through his 80s. What a great human being and artist.
Mr. Carter is a true cornerstone in the realm of jazz. Played on the best selling jazz record of all time. Most recorded jazz bassist of all time. Has played with everyone that was anyone in jazz.
He is a prolific, elegant genius. A humble music ambassador, still prodigious in sharing his talents and humanity with the world. What a person and story!

I started watching it. Very cool. I’m ashamed to admit I’m a native NYer who has been here most of my life, and I’ve never heard Ron perform.
It was a really great program. I feel like I understand Mr. Carter much better now. I attended a master class that he hosted some years ago. I needed this documentary to fill in some blanks.
I can see myself going through a Ron Carter phase. He is certainly a model for doing this the right way.

Absolutely loved this. Of course it's on PBS!!! All musicians should watch this. It's amazing how he didn't give up- even in the face of extreme adversity.

I watched it last night. It’s very moving and it captures the confusion of the pandemic. And the sadness of this titan who has outlived so many of his peers, and one of his sons.
Great doc and learned a lot about the man. Loved him before, love & respect him even more now.
