Ya, a B-15 is super special, but I'm fine with the PF-50T these days.
Agreed. A PF-20/50T might get you close with a variety of good cabs.

Broughton is about to release a new pedal, called "Fliptop". The release date got moved back to 11/27.
Kro, you don't want to just keep an eye on it. You want to be on the Broughton site F5ing next Friday to try to get one. It's the most complete B15 sound in a single, small pedal that has been offered anywhere by anyone.Oh my and it has a cab sim too.... I'll have to keep an eye on it.
You can also check out the Sushi Box Slampegg Bee Pre. It's a B-15 in a tube pedal. It has ultra hi, ultra lo and bright switches as well.
Not true. Here's the link: Invalid Link RemovedIt's not based on the B15 but on the SVT which is a completely diferent beast.

For a SVT sound, i use a Broughton SV-PRE and the Ampeg_SVT-810E from Shift Line, i can tell you, it's like sitting next to it
Have you played every B15 inspired pedal offered anywhere by anyone? For that matter, have you played the pedal you referenced?
Yeah, if Zymba is going to be an @$$ like that I figured he doesn't really deserve a response. I have owned muitiple B-15n amps and tried forever to get that sound out of a larger, more powerful rig. There are some good software solutions for recording, but I haven't found anything great for live use until the Broughton Fliptop. It does it. The breakup is perfect and the cab sim being a wet/dry mix allows you to get that cab sound and mix it in to whatever degree your cab is already working for you. Roll the cab sim knob all the way up and play through a hi fi 4x10 and you have a legit B-15n tone/feel with whatever amount of power you want to throw at it. I have gigged a real B-15n A LOT, so I'm not making it up.You don't speak any Broughtonese, do you? He just said, it' a nice pedal.![]()

Saying its nice pedal would have been normal. Instead he hyped it
