Does everyone have an "always on?"

I think I need a compressor/limiter to control the peaks that occur with fuzz > filter.

Beyond that, I love the wide dynamic range of my bass. So twangy and punchy. And yeah, I do control that aspect with my fingers, but kick in the fuzz > filter and no matter how softly I play it makes my ears hurt.

Limiter or maybe low-pass hunting...
