This cabinet is on ebay. T/S parameters are given, and they seem exceptional. Anyone have experience? Also, I intend to bid, but if someone else wants to, please let me know. That way we won't compete against each other. I really do need a cabinet, though.

radio shack speakers in a fender cab, worth about the same as an unloaded cab I would say... my guess is the specs given are for the original drivers.. seems pretty optimistic to me.

besides the seller's given specs being a fantasy, i love that the seller referred to it being covered in 'leather' as it is obviously covered in tolex that's in pretty rough shape at that.

and the radioshack 'realistic' moniker never ceased to get a laugh out of me. as if they aren't actually real speakers, but 'realistic' ones.

Can any speaker really be that efficient in a sealed cab? The volume looks small to accomodate 2 15s, doesn't it? My 2X15 Labseries is small, also, but ported.

it all depends on how it's built. but back in the day, fender couldn't build a solid bass cab to save their lives. that's why ampeg took over in the bass amp dept. they were the only ones who knew what they were doing for bass until about the late 60's. but fender never did any good bass cabs imho until the last 20 years.

Those are not T/S specs, and they are BS. Radio Shack never sold a driver worth using. As for "These Realistic speakers are the originals", that is a flat out lie.
