The only tort I do not like is something with less than 4 ply’s.
Sometimes they cop out an only do TWB, and that looks horrible. It must have the bottom W layer to look correct.

I found this P7 for a great price. I have never owned nor have I ever wanted to own a white bass. I figured I'd deal with since it was such a deal. Fast forward a month or two and now I absolutely love the look of white with tort. Keep it as is imo

I have a similar reddish tort loaf on my usa P … one of these days I’m going to replace it with a deeper brown tort with less “pepperoni” flavor

I didn't like the "red tort" that came with my 2011 American Special J. So, I replaced it with the "brown tort", which I think looks better with Olympic White/rosewood.
