I have no idea what you paid for that, but if you bought it at MF it could have been had for $2780 after their discounts. That's $820 savings off the retail price for that. Is their "service" really worth that much to people?
AND you could have taken 36 months to pay ot off.
Not looking to be funny nor snide, just helpful. I really dont get it - unless you did pay significantly less than the asking price.
I just asked an MF rep for a price on that and he said they can do $3347.99, 7% discount. I would be really surprised if SW can't match or do better than that. I've received 10-15% discounts on basses with no haggling - just ask.
The payment options seem to vary between the vendors depending on each arrangement with each manufacturer. MF happens to have better terms with Roland than SW at the moment. They also change from time to time I've noticed.
If you're using a Synchrony account, be careful with the 6-month payments. If you are late on the last one they charge very high interest on the original financed amount. The terms for the 24/36/48 month payments are different. Zero interest and only a small fee for late payment. I think the fee can be no larger than the monthly payment amount. We probably all use the automated payments anyway (who actually mails in a check??)
