DON'T SHOP AT MUSICTOYZ.COM!!!

I've bought a ton of gear from Toyz, no problems. That being said, I always email them to confirm inventory before I place an order.

If they aren't replying to your emails, call them, use their online chat service, or post on their forum.

Same thing happen to me but from a different company Link Removed i bought an EBS WAH and never receive it and kept calling them and leaving messages and then they replied and said that there running slow on shipping but was going to send it out never receive anything till this day and i bought it the day after Christmas of 07.

It took like 1 1/2 month to get my demeter. I emailed them several times with no answer. The only god thing about it was that they didn´t tax the correct price on the item, so I did not have to pay 25% in VAT!

Damn, I'm in the same boat.

I ordered a Demeter Compulator on 2/27/08. Got the e-mail saying expect shipping notification from U.P.S. - and nothing.

My e-mails have gone unanswered.

Yeah, I just wish they'd get back to me and let me know what's going on. If it's going to be a while getting to me, well fine, I just wish they'd tell me that - rather than having to get visa involved or whatever.

Or try one of the many other small dudes around:

http://www.tonefactor.com/

Invalid Link Removed
et alia

I've never tried Music Toyz. Sucks for the bad experiences.

I generally use www.analogman.com or www.tonefactor.com

I've heard Music Toyz warnings before. Sorry you are having issues with them

I have bought in the past from guitareffectspedals.com and pedalgeek.com. Both very professional and highly recommended ...

COOL LIST! I'll add Invalid Link Removed to it, I never had a problem with them.

Been waiting over 4 months for them to ship my $730 worth of pedals. I've emailed them about 15 times, and i get the "we've received your email, here's your ticket number and a customer service rep will get back to you in 1 business day...etc" every single time. I've got my bank doing a charge-back now hopefully. Maybe one day I might actually be able to use the pedals i shelled out for!!!

Ugh, I'm waiting on a pedal from them that was supposedly in stock. It wasn't in stock and was supposed to get there last week but then that snow storm hit (so I was told). Never received a reply to my email but I did manage to get someone on the phone. I waited this long, I guess I can give them a few more days. I hope this doesn't turn into even more of a headache. I'm not impressed, can't see me as a repeat customer.

Ordering boutique pedals from small retailers I must hit this situation nearly %50 of the time. I pretty much won't put in online orders anymore without checking stock over the phone.

One warning with that. They could threaten legal action. Had a friend on a photo chat room have a problem with a product sold by a major photo equipment manufacturer. They threatened legal action to the point that she had to print a retraction on the chat room. Needless to say I have not bought any of their products since, but if they want to be SOB's they can

Let them threaten all they want. Post the threats as well. As long as you simply report your experience with them, they don't have a legal leg to stand on.
