I remember there was once a web site for downloading "abandoned" games that were out of "print" and whose publishers/developers no longer existed. I don't know if it's still around. I think the site was called "Abandonia" or something like that.

Invalid Link Removed contains a huge lot of them too, but the site is in french, and so is one half of the cames available.
