Great watching the work in progress, I admire the hand tool skill, I tend to whack out body relief with a grinder, never got the skill with gouges or draw knives. Your work has progressed hugely just in the 4 years I’ve been on TB.

Thank you. I can definitely see a big difference between my first build and these ones.
I used a scotch brite pad to knock down some areas where the finish was building up thicker than others and added another coat. I think it's getting close.
I spent some time filing fret ends and polishing frets today.
EVO gold. I've used them on almost all of my builds, I like em.
Nice. I thought they looked interesting, but was wanting to hear from someone other than the salescopy regarding reality. Thanks!

I have a bass that I started during the build challenge last winter that I am ready to get back into now that these guitars are done. I'm hoping to work quickly on it because I'm playing bass in a band again and would really like to record with this new bass instead of the very first one that I built, which is what I'm playing now. The neck has been in clamps for almost a full year, so I'm thinking that glue might be cured by now, hah.

I took some more photos because the color was off in the others and it was bugging me. Kitchen counter and some better natural lighting helped.
I also realized that I didn't get enough individual photos of each guitar before. So...
