Not that I've ever used one myself, but I'd bet hard currency that you like the Barbershop when you try it. The Flux and Pork Loin sound cool.

It seems like a cool way to go. I like a pretty hi-fi upright sound, but on bass I want something with a bit more personality that isn't quite dirt, if that makes sense

I've got a really simple 4-channel mixer I use. Bass guitar goes through my pedalboard into channel 1, my Novation Bass Station II goes into channel 2. I've got two pickups on the upright at the moment; an Ehrlund EAP which I use for everything where possible, and a Bass Max if I need more volume. The EAP has its own preamp, the Bass Max goes into a Fishman Plat Pro EQ, then both preamps go out into the remaining two channels of the mixer.

It's rare that I use all four channels though. I do have a band where I use BG, DB and synth but it's on hiatus at the moment (drummer troubles).

Which mixer? I've tried a couple, but they were kind of tone suckers, IMO

I don't use a lot of effects live, but I'm a doubled who records and I've used jamup to switch settings and tones for the two instruments. So, I have no rig to post but here's what I've done for what I need...

For the little bit of live doubling I've done needing one amp rig (not often) I use my Eden wtdi to set the upright tones different from my EB tone.

I've found that through jamup it really helps to use a graphic eq-->reverb-->a vintage amp model to warm up the tone from my full circle pickup.

I prefer to have two separate rigs whenever possible even if it means going direct with the upright or having two amps on stage, just my preference.
