Douglas Fretless bass

I'm seriously contemplating buying one. For $189 price tag it sounds like a deal to try it out. Anyone have any Douglas fretless basses out there and if so how are they? I can't try one out of course so I call on those who have one. I love the fretless tone and I think it would go great with my band's overall sound.

I'm afraid I won't be much help. I love all of my (many) SXes, and Douglas is a notch up, so love them even MORE! I only have one Douglas fretless, however, and it was not a disappointment

Go for it!

I just purchased a 4 string fretless Jazz. It's my first fretless and I'm taking a liking to it. I couldn't have asked for a better price point.

Rondo's stock kinda ebbs and flows. You may just need to wait for new 6ers to come in.

I have a Fretless 5 String that I have been playing for a little over two years now and I just love it. I did convert it from active to passive a while ago though. I use Rotosound Black Nylons on it and I relaly like the sound.
