Drum tracks for practice?

As previously stated, I'm a longtime guitar player who just started fooling with bass a couple months ago.

Have mostly been practicing with a metronome and simple guitar loops I've laid down on a TC Ditto Looper, but am wondering if anyone can recommend some good drum tracks for me to practice with. Free, online ones would be nice, but I wouldn't whine about paying something for decent stuff. Rock? Blues? Funk? Country? Any suggestions come to mind?

Thanks in advance.

Got an iPad? Fetch FunkBox, it's magic. My students love it.

I have an Alexis drum machine that I got from ebay years ago. It works for practice and demos. I prefer playing along with youtube.

If jazz grooves are acceptable, then The Drum Genius iPhone app is exactly that. 200 loops of classic jazz loops. With the drummer and record the groove was taken from listed. Whoever made this app really nailed it.

Thanks for appreciating Drumgenius! I worked hard (about 3 years) and still work for offering a useful tool for any musician.
I was tired of metronome that gives you just the regular pulse and so...A big hug!!

I SO wish that DG (or some other app) would cover other genres than jazz... Like funk, rock, disco, reggae, country... It doesn't have to be a zillion samples and variations, just a few of each. That would make my life sweeeet as a music teacher! That's what I wish for xmas Santa!!

Drumgenius 1.4 (300 loops for iOS and Android) other than a lot of Jazz grooves now includes also Funky, Afro-cuban, Caribbean (reggae included) and Brazilian Styles! In the next future I will add Hip-hop, Pop, Rock, African and more!

I want to buy this app but the two drum apps I already bought will not play thru my stereo when I connect the phone to the stereo.,
iTunes work but the drum apps do not. Is this one any different?

Make your own out of any song: http://www.songsurgeon.com/page/svsp.html

Full working demo. Paid software. Comes with Slow downer, pitcher shifter, 31 band eq., records what you hear, records slow downed version and more. It's the one I use.

Sure you can: just connect the ear plug PC cable to the device. Or you can plug your device to amp with the proper cable (ear plug/jack).

Thanks. I am not aware of the type cable you are talking about. I have the mini/USB and I I have headphones.. I do not know of any headphone/USB cables but will search.. Thanks again.
