Drums and Bass only songs

It completely slipped my mind earlier that one of my bands used to do a few songs with just bass, voices and shaker before we added a second guitarist. Even happen to have one of them on video:

Popular and easily recognizable cover, always gets a great reaction from crowds, arranged differently enough from the original that people expect it to have more parts. It definitely works for typical pub crowds. We also did "Pretty" by the Cranberries, "Fever", "First We Take Manhattan" by Leonard Cohen (also as a tango), and "Sex Bomb" by Tom Jones that way.

Could it work for a whole 45-minute set? It'd be pushing it, but if your drummer is a very good vocalist then it might.

Thank you! Tbh we did it that way only because the guitarist didn't feel like playing on that song, even though she's the one who suggested doing it as well as the one who came up with the idea of doing it as a tango.
