for those of us that are still out of reach for the price of the head, there is progress on the pedal. apparently the prototype has been delivered to doug. that info and the pic was posted on the Yamaha Attitude facebook group.

That's good to hear! Hoping it's in the classic Sansamp/VT Bass DI enclosure though. Somehow I don't feel visually attracted to the Fly rig ones.

yea, that was my thought too, but ill give it time since its just the prototype.

Thanks for posting this. I'm assuming this can be used as a preamp and not just an effect. Either way it's unbelievable.

I neeeeeed that pedal!! Personally I much prefer the Fly chassis. If the tuner and compressor are decent in their own right then I'll be in heaven! Basically I want a fly rig with tuner, comp, overdrive (that sounds as good as that video!) and preamp. On the face of it, this does it all. When are you letting us have this, @tech21nyc ?!!

Dug has a great tone and it sounds ace.

Hope it costs around $200-$250 and in the standard Sansamp enclosure. Keep up the good work guys!

It should be released at the show in January and hopefully ship in the spring of 2018. Nothing is set in stone though.

This amp seems "on paper" like everything I need for my self-contained rack rig - and since comparing it in person with my Darkglass Microtubes 900 doesn't seem likely...
Also I'm having trouble finding info on how to switch the voltage - better deals are found in 110v land than around my area

They aren't fancy but on pages 14-16 of this thread I posted a few clips done off the DI and a mic.
BrBass posted some clips too but I'm not sure how they were recorded.
