Currently seeking avaiable bass musicans concerned about there stage presence due to inferior equipment. If your a bassist suffering from snob envy let me help with this terrible affliction of size verses matter! Are you looking for that special sound that only superior equipment well get you. Are you always looking at that special deal but because of other finacial issues cannot make the purchase. I ve been there many times myself and so i am going to offer up alot of my bass items for sale or trade. MY items that i am prepared to offer you are all being presented in good shape both looks and play wise and well give that special bassist his look and sound that he or she craves . promise! Why am i doing this ? SIMPLE i am scared my wife well see how much stuff i have bought and put on our credit card. i have it hidden where she,ll never find it. HA HA! IN my shop out back. This morning while sitting at my pc she came into the kitchen and said she wanted to go to home depot and buy a new countertop and sink cabinets.UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I VE HAD IT NOW. Gotta do something quick real quick. If i can stall her for a while maybe i can build our line of credit back up to where paying for this update well be a piece of cake. Then i can re establish myself as a lover of things bassy for the underhanded sleeze that i am and be alittle more careful next time.! That being shared i,ll anser all inquires about my items being offered. So for a quick list heres a bunch of stuff all on one list: trace elliot/traynor/ampeg/mesa/ also due to the sensitivity of this nature only email and if we work out a deal were are all going to just have a jam session in my back yard as far as the wife knows I,ll help you load or she,ll think you brought your own stuff and we,ll adlib as we go cool! OK! Thank you for your patronage...

I miss line breaks. You'd think if someone was posting an ad on the internet, they would at least want to make it readable.

Reality check dudes, if you're playing for gas money to get to the next show, you're not big enough to have connections in the industry. Therefore, you have no cred and no one of any talent is going to open for free on empty promises of "exposure". Oh, and then expect me to advertise your show for free too... :scowl:



Rock band for L.A. band needed

The Event Center is looking for an opening act for the L.A. band Slant.
We are looking for an Amarillo local hard rock type band that is stage
ready with about 30-45 mins worth of music. A bigger set list is always
welcomed though.

Slant will be coming though Amarillo Saturday, May 21st for one night
only. They will be on a "gas money" tour which means they will be selling
T-shirts, CDs, etc... plus a percentage of the door to help get them to the
next show.

So if you have a band that can play an opening set for free please contact
me and we can set something up. Getting your band exposure with an L.A.
band will always help your resume, right? We will do all the promotion but
if you want a bigger crowd, your help is also needed.

Go to Slant to check out the bands music and see if your
band would fit as a good opening act.
If we get a lot of entries, I will send all the bands info to Slant to have
them help choose the opening act.

Opening band plays for Slant, gets a very positive reaction from the 40 person audience. One of the few rare A&E reps from near dead large label is attending the show looking for talent and notices that the band has originals and that the band could pull them off without a train wreck. So he signs them on the spot for a 360 record deal where the band has to play an annual fee on top of the clause of not earning anything from the record deal. The rest is history as they say.

looking for guitar and bass players singer all numbers most be males my wife likes it that way

right now we have 1 guitar player the new guitar player will need to show him how to play the songs
if you cant or not willing to do that there no need for you in the band

bass player most be able to slap and pick at the same time

singer most have a PA and let are Pianist use it as well

more about are band we get together 2 times a week for 2 to 3 hours we will work one song
on tell we cant polish it any more we will be doing just open mic shows we all now that where the money is
