It’s a dangerous hole to fall down haha. But oh so enjoyable. I’ve got a Dunwich on the way that I just grabbed in the classifieds. Stoked to try it out. It’s dangerous. If I hadn’t fallen down the Dunwich hole I probably wouldn’t have found Night Owl, which I think is what got me looking at the Germ Warfare.
The Germ Warfare does look interesting... I just bought another ODB cause the price was so good and I want to try it with the Bloop.Guess what’s coming my way soon![]()
Yup, the Wizard is super special!Happy birthday Nick (it may be belated as I'm living in China at the moment and the US-China timewarp often throws me for a loop). Another vote for the Electrofoods folks - they are doing really interesting and different stuff and they are super nice guys to boot.
I met them at last year's Fear the Riff expo and almost bought a Germ Warfare but ended up getting an Eye of Ra instead.
It's a really cool pedal but it just can't unseat the big box Wizard Fuzz for me. I kept wanting to adjust it and tweak its many knobs (it has 7 plus the center Eye flashes while you play like some of the Abominable pedals do!). Plus the WF really feels organic, breathy and amp-like.

Didn’t you get a custom VT awhile back? You prefer this one for some reason? Just curious.Yup... the Wizard Fuzz reigns supreme. I‘m a pathological flipper, but I’ll never sell my 125b WF
Edit: here’s what I’m taking to a doom session tomorrow night. I’m running the VT and model feT through the Bloop.

Yup... however, after trying both, I just preferred the 125b version. Everyone’s ears are different. My second ODB arrived today... I guess I’m going through the lineup again.Didn’t you get a custom VT awhile back? You prefer this one for some reason? Just curious.
Also, the DA120 arrived today

Maybe call it the Warlock. The WF125B's Blend and Gain settings look more like dirt-y conjuring rather than Wizardry![]()
It’s true, I hate some pedals ppl love and vice versa. Nice on the ODB, I have been loving mine! I can’t wait to try the DA120 up against it.Yup... however, after trying both, I just preferred the 125b version. Everyone’s ears are different. My second ODB arrived today... I’d grab a SVT too, looks awesome!Heck yeah, dudes- loving my second ODB as well. Putting some money aside for the Super Volt Thrower too. Hopefully I don’t miss out on the preorder!
I’m in no rush. Gives me time to build up the funds! Glad to know they’re on the horizon.well, im still getting used to my current 2 kid era schedule and its currently going fairly rough.
My normal daily routine is Day Job (Leave at 7 am - Come home by 5:30 - 6:30 pm). Then its dinner, maybe baths for the kids, and by that time I need to take my newborn son so my wife can get my daughter in bed. Most nights I get to the bench around 9 pm, squeeze in 2 hours of work before I need to feed my son (2 hour feeding schedule). At that point its midnight. I go to sleep and some nights I can get sleep til 6 am wakeup but lately my daughter is having issue with sleep and she wakes me from 3-4 am and has a very hard going to sleep.
TLDR - I am only getting 3-5 hours of sleep most nights and maybe 2ish hours of time to work on pedals per day so in general stuff is really slow. Im still trying to finish the Modded Heavy Metal preorders (I have 6 left, 2 are 60% complete) and its taking longer than I would like.
I dont want to add a lot of new orders (custom and preorder alike) without much grasp on how long things are taking me. Even if I can get 4-5 working days (on pedals that is) per week I am not getting near the throughput I had pre-2nd baby.
So TLDR again, not sure when those will go up
