So that's two rat variations in one package? I guess they're different enough to warrant having both if you like them but it seems like an odd choice for a combo box.
All mentions of it I'm finding say it's a Rat with HM-2's tone stack. Is that not it?

But yeah, to your point, distinctly different sounding than the normal Rat Tone Stack I would think.

I can't decide if I need the new Monolith or not...but I also felt the same about the Edison and now it's my always on pedal.
Not to turn this into the Night Owl Industries thread, but: is the Monolith the C4 boost as a stand-alone pedal? Nick’s recording sounds good but I’m not clear on what the Monolith is doing in it.
Certainly a killer deal, as anyone who buys it at list price would starve.
I need a backup, so I'd only buy it if he'd sell me two.
The IG description of the Monolith says it’s a boost with tons of headroom, and meant to go after other pedals. The control knob adds “thickness” to the sound, which seems to be a bass boost of some kind.
So I’m guessing Nick’s Demo was a lot of amp in that tone with some DA120 to boot. At first, from the tones, I thought this Monolith was some kind of one knob fuzz. That tone was brutal.
