Looking at the website confirms that indeed. I'm debating making an offer on the one on Reverb.. I'm really more interested in trying the Magick Fuzz though but they don't pop up for sale often from what I see. That one is a muff from what I read and I'm always try new ones, especially ones billed like the Magick. The Fuzz Throne sounds pretty damn good too.
Damnit..
Does anyone have a 1590BB Volt Thrower they are willing get rid of? I'm willing to purchase or trade. PM me.
In the meantime, JohnK's pedal is holding down the fort. The DIY Bass OD is incredibly versatile and sounds freaking awesome. What a great design!
Are there any sound demos of this DIY OD pedal anywhere?
Specifically, are there any for bass?
I appreciate the feedback. To be super honest I did not put a ton of time into the design. The real inception for the idea was not DIY. A friend of my wife has a wedding anniversary in April of this year and asked me to build a Boss ODB3 clone for her husband who plays bass. So I just kinda mashed up the online schematic with the EQ from the WitchFinder and made some small adjustments to lower the gain, give the clean signal a little LPF and its own gain control to allow for more flexibility in terms of clean to clipped signal ratio. Then just add in LED or Si diode switch and boom the pedal was built. I had another guy locally verify it and decided to just drop it as a DIY for people to enjoy.
I have no expectations its going to blow the market up with stuff.
Also as far as the ODB3 Distortion project, I can't for the life of me figure out what the "Filter" knob does. What was it intended to do? I'm also a bit unclear as to what is being bypassed with the bypass switch. It more feels like a treble defeat kind of thing when I toggle it. Curious what the intended behavior is.
Cool! I can't wait for the DIY Super Volt Thrower to be released.New verified DIY project is up:

I wonder if he likes sour beer. One of the best sour beer breweries in the US is right next door. It’s not my favorite but maybe he likes it.Rare beer worked for me
...though I have been waiting over 6 months
