Had a sit down with the Parabellum just now! I'm liking it. Trying to use it as a dirt box seems a bit fruitless, there's a fizz in the high end particularly noticeable with the lowest strings and it doesn't do much with the lowest frequencies for distorting. But that wasn't exactly what it was sold as anyway. The output is massive and the tone shaping seems really versatile. The noise is virtually zero even at higher gain settings. The gentle saturation is a very welcome device. I need to try driving my Burning Sunn with it to really see if I can make it shine the way I hope it will. Or maybe I should move it back in the chain and put it just after compression and work it as more of a clean pre-amp
