Dunwich Amplification General Discussion

I traded my v1 Parabellum to Kellen for his VT#2. I'm excited to get another VT back in the stable.

And welcome to the club. I used to have a One Knob Distortion. It's very cool and sounds great.

I've been wanting a Parabellum since I first saw it on your board lol they seem to be quite scarce. Congratulations on the Volt Thrower, thats another one Id love to try out but definitely happy with the Op Amp Distortion.

I just moved my Parabellum v1 and VT out the door.

The v1 tube got busted in shipping. I contacted Seth about any concerns. He mentioned that because of the tight fit of the parts, it is worth padding the tube for shipping. I know a few of these have shipped around without issue, but I thought I'd send up a little PSA for those with GAS.

I got a quick catch and release on a recent Magic ODB I got from the classifieds. Preferring my 250 with my current rig. Hit me up if you are interested and want to grab it before it hits the classifieds. Just asking what I paid.
DOD 250, I assume? Such an under-rated pedal. I wish I could find a good clone that works for my bass. I always feel like I've been so close each time, but never quite get there. After at least 4 250s, I currently own a mini clone that toggles between DOD 250 and the MXR Distortion+. But maybe some sort of blend pedal is the answer? Or maybe I just use it again since I've had some dirt revelations since I last tried it...

Yep DOD! A blend pedal will open up a lot more possibilities. Not too long ago I got a Damnation Bloop and the 250 absolutely shines in its loop. I also have been through quite a few 250s too, currently have 3 now, but each one I've owned seemed to differ and respond slightly different. Currently using an old 80's one that hits the right spot with my rig. I think its a LF351 chip, but I couldn't tell you how much of a difference it makes. I also enjoy the Analogman Mojo mod one I have as well.

Hagtronix has a 250 clone I've been watching from a distance. No experience though.

I've always wanted to try a Spiral Yellow because of how much I like the 250.

I don't have a Lil Fella anymore but my understanding is Fulltones OCD was a take on the 250 with an added tone control annnnd a Lil Fella is a take on the OCD. Folks love the Lil Fella.

I decided to keep the v2 Para and use it on my soon to become only board. (Yes, there will be a pedal sell off.)

Nice.

My sell off continues but I think the only Dunwich/Magic that's at risk of going is the Witchfinder. The DA120, Wizard, 3 knob Cthulhu, v2 Parabellum, and probably something I'm forgetting will remain.

Edit - I think I've sold almost enough gear to offset the new bass. Now I'm just cleaning house to make room for some new things I want to try. I'm trying to carry the momentum of selling though for a bit longer.
