Interesting. I've only ever thought of it as Dun-nitch. Likely on account of being English and that following more naturally to my ears. Good question.
It's similar with Warwick basses. I'd say Wo-rick, like the English town (incidentally about three miles from where Bass Direct is). The company promos seem to say War-wick. Which I guess makes more sense than the Var-vick that German would suggest.
The dude's local-ish to me, but I have yet to try any of his stuff. From what little I hear, it's quality, but it's hard to track down many people who have actually used it. For that reason I've avoided his stuff - also because it's been hard to find the stuff of his I'd like within my price range (i.e. used). I debated getting one of his 5150-based pedals for my guitar rig a few years ago, but then he stopped making them, so that's no longer an option.
My Conan Fuzz Throne arrived today from Magic and it looks amazing. The graphics really pop in real life. I was also lucky to snag the blue unit on Reverb which also arrived today. I plan on trying both later. I really like the standard Fuzz Throne so I'm hoping these will be good too.

Thanks! I was surprised to see a blue one to be honest. Like probably too many of us, I spend an inordinate amount of time watching Reverb, and that was just a lucky moment.
That's a rare one. Only 15 were made.
I didn't realise it was so few. I saw the Instagram post for it and knew it was a festival only design but that's crazy. I was very surprised to see one pop up on Reverb as I thought people would take them to the grave.
10 were sold at NWTF and there are 5 behind the scenes. Either way, someone didn't know or care what they got rid of. I think it's the best looking one of the release.

Oh yeah, I forgot about that! Thanks for the reminder. Can the Op Amp Distortion take up to 18v as well?
Would you happen to know what the different clipping positions are?
& if I understand correctly the internal trimpots are 'mid' & 'sub' & control the subsequent frequency range, correct?
I don't know what the Op Amp can handle voltage wise.
From Nick: "The 125B sized VTs are the normal VT schematic with only 2 clipping options but with the ODB mid control. Same voltage conversion setup ect ect."
For the VT125B's, buyers were able to choose their diodes. You'll need to take a peek inside to find out what you have.
I can't help you on the trimpots. I never touched them on my 125B.
The mid on the VT 125B really changes the character of the 'VT sound'. It's more honky/boxy sounding, even if you don't dial the mids in heavily. I had 2 or 3 of them over the years, as well as a handful of the big box VTs. I thought the 125B was a cool pedal, but it didn't quite get me the same punch and grind of the OG. I remember always thinking the 125B sounded a bit more polite...
Pretty much. Nick named the company Dunwich after the Electric Wizard song, and, the song was inspired by Lovecraft. Its pronounced the same (for those not familiar).
