I can definitely see the Euphonic Audio family resemblance, and I like seeing the push buttons have been illuminated. But, I'm disappointed by the apparent absence of a variable high-pass filter.

Any idea what the dimensions and weight are?

Yes, the 600 sounds more robust.

It will be interesting to see how the new iAmp-1000 will compare tonally.

Has anybody heard anything about this new Iamp recently? It seems like there was a lot of talk back in the spring and so far, no product.

Prototypes have been making the rounds to us EA artists. We've made some suggestions and EA is evaluating them. Leland had one out on gigs as well. The new amp should hit around NAMM.

I need to check out one of those one day... I do more rock and pop stuff.... Nothing does clean better than EA.. i was talking with Kasim a couple of years ago and he loved his 800s.. mmm

Looks very cool. I dig the aesthetics. Does this use a 1000 watt ice module? I have owned the 800 and the 600 and definitely preferred the tone of the 600.

Hey all,
Wow!! All this time and I've forgotten about the "EA Owners Club"
I've had an iAmp800 for over ten years and an NL210 for slightly less.
The iAmp has been back to EA for some TLC (op amps installed?) and the NL has been back for new drivers.
The end result of these mods has been difficult for my ears to discern but, I DO love the sound of the set-up.
I don't utilize the wide range of the EQ but my Ken Smith, Human Base and NS EUB sound really nice at home or on stage.
I also have a Markbass SD800 and Schroeder 1210R which have had fun together but the EA gets the nod for better overall tone quality!

Usually these things debut at the Winter NAMM Show but I looked at the Exhibitors List on the NAMM website and didn't see EA listed as an exhibitor. About a month ago, in an email to (I asked several things) John Dong, I asked if they were going to introduce the 1000 around that show..... John responded to several other questions but that one went unanswered. Guess we'll just have to wait and see.

I'm curious if anyone is using a MarkBass F1 amp into a pair of Wizzy 12's with a 5 string (low B) for live, ongoing playing? I only use 4 strings, but I'm planning on getting a 5 to do low B (and maybe even Drop A) for some Progressive Metal songs. Will this amp/cabs configuration work well?
