EA Euphonic Audio Club (NEW WEBSITE)

Hi guys! I'm actually working on porting the EA website to a new platform, and when Larry and I recently met to talk about the site I had a chance to check out the new iAmp Classic prototype. Tried it with Larry's Sadowsky P with flats as well as my Lee Sklar Tribute bass and it sounded awesome. The amp looked the same as the picture that Jl99 posted a while back, but Larry was talking about fine-tuning the layout of the front panel. He mentioned that he and Gary were doing some work to respond to some of the feedback they got from Lee and other "testers." Anyway, there's a lot happening behind the scenes and hopefully we'll get to see some updated amps and cabs later this spring...

Hopefully the fine tuning includes doing away with the 70's stereo look.

I don't know what Larry would say about the faceplate designs, specifically, but Euphonic Audio did start out building hi-fi stereo gear in the 1980s. And from what I've learned so far about their amps and cabs, it seems that that full-range approach remains a core part of the company DNA.

Not trying to be a spokesman though... Hopefully when the new gear comes out we'll be able to hear all about it direct from Larry, John, and Gary.

I know what you mean, Im looking at a Iamp pro but its tuff getting past that 70' pioneer reciever look. Maybe I'll just wait for a good deal on a iamp 800. Can there be a whole lot of difference between the two ? I love my iamp 500 and it probably has all the wattage I really need, but you know how curiosity goes.

I said this a long time ago in this thread, speaking of electric bass not DB. I found myself EQing the Pro to sound as close to the doubler as I could. The Pro could drive a single 2x10 to higher volumes than the doubler but using two NL210s with the doubler provides more than enough headroom for what I do. For that reason I sold the Pro, I recently had picked up a used 350 (I had owned one ten years ago and gigged it for quite a few years). The first time around with the 350 I was using Bag End 15s. I'm now using NL210s and much prefered the Doubler to the 350. The 800 I had was prior to the Doubler and I owned a 350 and 800 side by side I thought they were different not worlds apart but enough that I could compare and contrast them. Never owned or used the older 500.

I have the euphonic micro amp i300 s/n 10008.
The amp burned unboxed first time just with the power on.
Repaired and burned again after 2 days by the same way.
Replaced with a new one and burned after 1 week.
From then I'm trying to ask support and schematics several times by e-mailing to Gary Gibilisco..no reply at all..
What else to say..??
It seems that europeans have no luck with this brand name..

Nooo its not the fuse its the resonant power supply's mosfets and the control addon pcb which failed.
There is no internal jumper on this amp switching 110-220V.
I could hear it for about 1 hour totally..!!
I tried to contact them by phone too, but of course, was only able to leave a message.
John Dong is the speakers designer..

"I'm only guessing but are you saying you blew a fuse?

I do know on the doubler there is an internal jumper to change the line voltage.

If you haven't heard back from Gary maybe he is away try John Dong.

I know it's been quiet in here. I was just thinking with all the gear purchases and different things I've tried over the years my NL210 cabs have been the constant I think I bought the two of them around 2007. Super satisfied with them.

Also have seen a few VL208s in the classifieds recently and I can't buy everyone one that comes up but to me it still remains as the holy grail in double bass cabs.
