Ear gauging- opinions?

Good, I hoped that would come out as joking and not being a jack off. THis internet makes that kind of hard sometime. There is enough room in my loving heart for all types of goofballs. Sweetness and light eminates from my every orifice, as a matter of fact :)

Besides, if I said anything flattering about the picture I might face a lawsuit or something.

Not everything changes with time, I'm open to the possibility I'd change my mind but I doubt it. ;) I don't mind people staring, I welcome the curiosity to explain the process and help people become comfortable with it, in my area its pretty uncommon and people seem, as always, to ease up on judgment with understanding. :D

Mine really don't turn heads, it's just kind of a "set-it-and-forget-it" kind of thing. I never think about them or remember they're there until I clean them in the shower, or occasionally catch my shirt on them when disrobing. It's never something that's in the front of my mind until the time comes to clean them or stretch them some more.

Personally I think gauges look neater than plain post piercings. My ears are 1/2" so far (goal being 1") and I don't think they look ridiculous, I love them. Plus, they match my bass. ;)

This picture has me worried for 2 reasons.

1) Username has not yet brought up the subject of his games console.

2) This puts into conflict my earlier statement about girls with stretched ears. Because those look good. But any bigger than that and I don't think I would like them any more. (No offence to you, Salvatore'sLady, just my personal opinion - and I'm not an anti piercing guy at all).

i find that if you want to keep it classy, you stop at 0. maybe 00 on some people. ive seen very few above that point that i dont think look disgusting.

i think corporate slime are getting more open to those of us with "body modifications". years ago i saw a waiter at olive garden with something close to 0 gauges. he was dressed for the part, didnt seem to bother anyone.

ive got a hole on my lip.. 14 gauge. i went 6 hours without it early on and it closed most of the way up, but 2 years later, ive got plenty of work days without it. and no one could tell there was something supposed to be there when it was out.
