For sure! The band I mentioned above doesn't have that much of a following yet, though. Both bands I'm in sort of bounce between the two places based on what Scott strategizes for the night. Scruffy is cool because of the no-smoke atmosphere and the concert-like stage, but don't you feel a lot more removed from the crowd? Seems fine if the place is relatively full but tough when it's an off-night. Pres Pub is so naturally cramped it has the energy baked in! Also, did you ever have an issue with dead spots on stage at Scruffy? With some rigs I'm fine, but with others the bass sort of disappears at certain frequencies (not to mention that room is trebly as all getout).
FWIW, not sure how long it's been since you were on the Pres Pub stage, but between some new equipment and Kurt running the boards, sound has gotten waaaay better there in the last year or so.
