My band is gigging with fellow TB jmattbassplaya's band Friday the 13th at the Longbranch Saloon in Knoxville. It's right on the strip.

You're thinking about the Tin Roof. Great place to play if you want a built in crowd - but being forced to play for 4 hours straight for crap pay isn't any fun

We never made any real $$ playing originals, except for winning $10k in prizes when we won the 94.3 BOB.

Still haven't played there, but again my friend has played there twice now and he says it's legit.
At the Tin Roof? When you playing? I literally drop by there every Friday and Saturday (unless I'm gigging).
No, we don't have a gig at the Tin Roof. We've only played one party and will actually start gigging for $$ in the next few weeks. It's taken a long time to get 60+ songs ready.... schedules made rehearsals few and too far between!
Elvis to Velvet Revolver, Al Green to Lady Gaga, Commodores to Tone Loc..... a little of everything, but only hits.... even Skynyrd.

My band, Tame the Hurricane, is in need of some help. As I mentioned before, we're currently in a global competition that the Hard Rock Cafe is hosting. Without going into too much depth, we've already won the first three rounds of the process (which included a voting round and two BOTB's style competitions).
We're now onto the next round which is yet another voting round. Unlike last time when we were just competing against local bands, we're now facing off against bands from any and every city a Hard Rock Cafe is located in (over 80!).
