One of the easisest songs has to be Wild Thing. That was the first song I learned from begining to end. You should be able to learn it in about 5 minutes.

My girlfriend doesn't play bass and I taught her 7 Nation Army, Blitzkrieg Bop, and Beastie Boy's Fight for Your Right. Blitzkrieg Bop is a super simple song, but you've got to get the 8th note technique down. Could be a little tough for a real beginner.

I forgot about AC/DC. Most of their songs are very simple bass lines. I've played Live Wire, The Jack, and Dirty Deeds and these are all pretty easy songs.

If you can play kinda fast, check out blink-182 songs. They are ALL easy (I was obsessed when I first started playing bass and learned all of them. First songs I learned). The speed may be tough for a beginner?
