EBay doesn't somehow pursue the offending sellers? That's crazy.

I am sure eBay does whatever they can to get back any money they have lost. But there is a point where it can cost eBay more than they will get back & just cut their losses.

I just received a tracking #, although looks to be a fake one I live in MO btw

Looks like my tracking. Also to be delivered to Delaware today. Shipped from CT though the Seller is listed as California. If you look at my Tracking (I went directly to USPS to get more detail) it says:
Shipping Partner: AMAZON
So its beginning to look like a scam.

Which seller(s) did you purchase from? There seem to be as least two who are selling these for under $20.

The original seller (as far as I can tell) of the $17.99 basses and guitars was robhe8875. Their account is still active but they don't have anything for sale.

My current guess is, assuming they're legitimate, they were dumping inventory to free up warehouse space. Rent and logistics can be more expensive than the loss taken on a pile of guitars and basses, especially if you're expecting a big shipment of something.

I just got 3 messages from eBay saying I recently contacted someone with a compromised account. I'm actually surprised the transaction hasn't been automatically reversed yet. Off to go make that happen now!

I bought all 4 from robhe8875, one of each color. I expect that they will be playable and if not, it is difficult to even buy a decent piece of wall art for my home bar for the price of these so they will become décor.
