Is it just me or is that body funny looking and a wierd bridge.

I disagree, GC used to sell these things when I was in Highschool (so 6+ years ago). They were like the budget line of Warwick's before there was the rockbass or anything like that.

I remember the 5 strings were Red. But I don't think it is BS, just a low level Warwick from yester-year.

I agree maybe someone stripped it down and tried to refurbish it (I see wood filler) and they tried to reshape the horn (maybe it was chipped) or something?

I'd say the upper horn looks more Corvette-esque, but that's just me...

Especially since the seller says it may have been stripped, mentioning green finish in the crevices, I bet somebody did sand it a bit aggressively--reshaping it a bunch whether intentionally or not.

Really. My '99 Streamer STD has the standard Warwick ovangkol neck/wenge board ... just like every other one I have ever seen.

Sorry, just that EVERY streamer STD I've seen had the Wenge neck, and I've seen a lot. They stopped producing them just around the same time they stopped using wenge in neck woods, that explains why I thought they all had wenge neck.

I just remember those models sounding very unwarwick-like. I tried out a few and was seriously unimpressed.

They had a bit of the 'Warwick sound'. The more expensive models had a lot more of it.
