They had one at Andertons when I collected my 4HH - it was a 4H and looked great. If there weren't other cool colours which I liked I would have got a yellow one.

There was a guy with a yellow SR5s - did some demos on You Tube. I thought he also posted in one of the threads on TB?

I like the hot-rod based colors on these. And yellow hot rods look like pure fun!

Anyone seen a preowned 4HH for sale? I have seen a few 4Hs, and of course could finance a new 4HH, but I have an itchy trigger finger after selling my '78 P that I didn't quite get along with, and no other bass at the moment.

EDIT: Looking again I see one in copper, but hoping for a different finish.

I'm going to have to, later in the year I think. Might have to be dropped copper or burnt apple.

You mentioned Andertons, such a great store! I grew up near there, went to college in Guildford.

Go for it! They're both really nice colours.

I agree - Andertons were certainly very good when I was dealing with them - added my basses to their shop order. A bit of a trek for me as I live in Kent but it's worth it. You were fortunate living near such a good music shop - they really are few and far between these days in the UK!!
