EBMM StingRay Special Club

Well after playing it last night and actually taking off the morning (had to take the kid to the Dr.) I shipped it back to MF. I just couldn't fall in love with it. I played one locally before and liked it in the store but at this price I need to love it. I played it at home through my 9.2 shuttle max and streamliner 900 to a baer ml115. If this was my only bass I might have kept it. It can get close to P, J, of course StingRay and all in between. But since I own a p,j, stingray, and a bfr sterling(the model not the brand) I dont feel that I need this bass. So next week check MF for an open box 4hh charcoal sparkle! Since this isn't a limited edition I might pick one up again dowe the line used.

After being strictly a Fender guy, out of nowhere I had begun a hard lust after one of the EBMM Stingray Classic 2EQs; but once I found a StingRay Special out in the wild I totally swooned over the roasted maple neck and re-voiced 3EQ preamp of the new Special. Keeping it Classic, I finally got down on a knee and made this Natural 4H StingRay Special my very own, and hereby submit for membership in this distinguished club.
