Personally I think flat it's pretty similar. I'd keep bass and mid flat, and bump the treble.

I have a 2008 Sterling Fretless 5 that is awesome. The only thing that would be better is a new Stingray or Sterling fretless with the new electronics!!Nope, the Sterling will come with some new finishes and appts next year!
Looking forward to seeing pics and getting a full review .Well, got mine in 9.2 lbs. Wife weighed it for me. I'll have to report back tomorrow once the kids go to sleep and I can play it. I never win RNG.

I think so too! I think any of the specials with a white guard would look great with a pearly. Like a Charger Green or Droped Copper.I really like it, adds a classy texture

After being strictly a Fender guy, out of nowhere I had begun a hard lust after one of the EBMM Stingray Classic 2EQs; but once I found a StingRay Special out in the wild I totally swooned over the roasted maple neck and re-voiced 3EQ preamp of the new Special. Keeping it Classic, I finally got down on a knee and made this Natural 4H StingRay Special my very own, and hereby submit for membership in this distinguished club.
