EBMM StingRay Special Club

I haven’t seen a charcoal sparkle with a good weight yet in my casual browsing since release

American Musical has a charcoal sparkle 5H in at 8 lb. 8 oz.

Yeah I think the metal flake and ebony make it heavier. My second choice is black and maple.

My aqua sparkle 5H is 8 lb. 4 oz.

Very nice! What switch position? Any EQ? Signal chain?

Thanks, it’s 3rd position, eq flat, into Boss MEB50 with natural compression activated out to the Roland Go Mixer where I blend in the music, and straight into my iPhone via lightening cable. When you plug the Roland Go Mixer into your phone it uses it for audio when shooting a video, it makes making videos real easy.

As for the TI flats, I don’t find myself missing anything sound wise from the rounds. They honestly just make me sound better without the extra string noise and sliding noise. Probably handicapping some technique progression but I have a feeling this has a lot to do with why many people seem to like them. I’ll take any handicap I can get lol

It sounds really good. I wasn't familiar with the Roland Go Mixer but it looks like a cool product.

Is that a t-shirt or a cloth bag of some sort that has the company logo and comes in the case of these new basses?

Here is what was in it. The little logo truss tool and bag are a nice touch

What kind of mix are we talking ?
Please elaborate .
Thanks and congrats.
Two humbucker guitars, Marshall and Blackstar amps, loud big-kit drummer. Everything miced. I played through a GK 1001RBii with a GK Neo 212. Modern rock, modern hard rock.

And the lighter weight: My Special 5H is 8lb. 8oz. Compare that with my StingRay 5HH at 10lb. 6oz., and I be stepping quite lightly.
