Yes. I may have changed once in a later set for Tweezer to position 2. I’ll post that one up when it’s mixed and masteredCool, so all the different tones are from different pick material and attack? That's sweet!

It’s made me a better musician if nothing elseMaaaaaan, I played so much Phish in college. I was not a jam band listener until I met the primary guitarist I worked with during those years. Lots of fun tunes, and the jams helped me develop my ear more than the countless attempts I tried to do ear training lessons.
I think you nee a white ring near the bottom of the switch cap so it matches the pick guard border..I’ve certainly posted this here before. But now my pics have better lighting. And most importantly I have a black switch cap to match the guard so I can sleep at night.

It looks great!
Thanks! Actually a chrome cap would be pretty cool. Anyone making those? Also, the bass sounds real good.
I was thinking all black hardware/ tuners for my Tectonic 4HH etc but now I'm thinking the chrome really sets it off better so I'll save that work and expense. The bass sounds exceptional and I'm sure the ebony fret board is the main reason I'm preferring the sound coming from my 4HH to my Rosewood 4H. Over the last 2 years I keep changing my mind which sounds better in mode 1 parallel but I put a fresh set of strings on the Maroon Mist 4H yesterday to make it a fair fight or even give it an edge and the 4HH Tectonic with ebony fretboard is killing it!
Do you guys know where to find a tortoise shell pickguard for a 2018 Special? I cannot find anything on the web.

Here's the bible on all things bass compressors and I believe high gain is discussed.Question for the group...I have a two good compressors, Diamond and Optocomp...but neither seems to like the higher output of my 18v Special. The Diamond really wont work with the Special and the Optocomp i have to have nearly all the way down and its to sensitive when adjusting. I mostly like very light compression, simple controls and maybe with a tad of additional warmth. What brands have yawl tried that work with higher output bass's and that are not a fortune![]()
