Agreed, I'm not bothered by someone whose tastes differ from mine. They may help you learn something you didn't know!
I've gotten the impression from Talkbass that Cobalt Flats are relatively flexible feeling flats. I think their relative brightness would work well for my band's play list but, if they feel closer to TI Jazz Flats than Chromes, then they won't work for me.
I looked at the string gagues and they look a little light for me. Would you say they have a stiff feel?
Another option would be to try a set of four string flats, such as Group II or maybe even Group I, in a gauge I prefer and then get a single B string, possibly in a roundwound as @LadyLoveStingRay5 has suggested here a few times.
