Haha! This came about due to a ton of outrage on the stingray Facebook group over still having the plastic on the guard. I agreed to film the peel whenever I decided to finally do it.

And we are all relieved! Thank you!

Plastic film peeling seems to be a polarizing thing. Im in the camp of if I see it, peeling it is top priority. Once removed, I can carry on with living.

Supposed to sound like single coil. I don't find it very useful, I wish they just left it as true single coil like they did on earlier 5H models. I think they switched to series with filter in the 2010s but not sure on the date.

But I use series and parallel modes pretty equally which is why I love the 5H

Yes that middle filter set up is a mystery and it does not seem to work for a lot of people (just a feeling), I'm position 1 (parallel) all the way

I like it occasionally if I boost the mids a good amount and turn up the amp gain a bit. But I rarely use it
