OK so this is not my custom that is coming in Friday or Monday from EBMM.
This is my own custom creation from my own 2 basses.
Remember , I said that I had big plans for my new Purple Sunset 5H. I just had this done and both basses set up professionally by LRC Guitars.

That has been THE response, even from the tech that did the work. He tried to buy it off of me . But no way , no chance no how. I might just name her WOW.
I just noticed the hardware switch too, and it works so well with the Purple Sunset!

I spoke to EBMM and asked them, knowing it was a very very long shot, whether I could purchase an unlined fretless neck (swapping and sending them my original fretted) for my 2007 SR5HH. As expected it was a no. But at least there's the Custom Design Experience coming!

I never thought of that. Someone will love the fact that its rear routed and all of that flamed grain in the ash shows through. It's a nice chocolatey dark rosewood. And that smooth roasted neck feels great. I have not weighed it yet. But im sure it's still well under 9 lbs.
From what I know about you as revealed in this thread alone, that seems like quite the dream combo for ya! If only there were some sparkles!
Ive considered a gold sparkle pick guard but I feel it will take focus away from the beautiful burst. The white pearl /burst combo gives it a vintage aspect. I happen to love pearls ( my birthstone) and white is one of my favorite colors. So I might stick with the pearl pickguard. I have ordered a clear pickguad because I would love to maintain the see all of the burst look of the Fuego. However, there is the problem of the route hole and electronics showing through. If I can figure out a way to cover it up and have it still look good I'll try it out. I also considered changing out the pickup cover to white, but I think the black really pops and also matches the headstock logo script. So the black stays.
I wish I could get a remote job, designing basses for EBMM.
Right. The purple sunset with the Pearl guard looks good. Almost pulled the trigger on a Purple sunset 4H yesterday but I’m trying to be patient and wait for a 5HH at a nice weight. Hold out for what you want. No regrets is better than second guessing. Too mush money not to be 100% satisfied.
