I was doing some Googling and also watched some videos about them. They look like they're quite well made, would provide great protection, and have usable interior storage. But I was surprised by how big they are, especially in the front-to-back thickness.
All of my Specials have them now. My Old Smoothie and my Short Scale StingRay are the only ones that still have the hard case. For storage , they take up a lot less room .
You got to use your ears and go with what you like.
I'm glad I've got to compare a few Stingrays to my Special for the same reason.
You've got some great basses, I'm jealous!
I did some recording today of my Amethyst Sparkle . I’m really loving the rounds on this bass. I think they will stay a while .
Will probably do some recording with Fretless later this week . Practice makes perfect .

Worked on some stuff with the Kiwi today.
I think this is because we're getting some of the first of the new colors.
Looks like you used Position 1 on both, but there was still a lot of nice low end on Roxanne. Cool!

I hate to disagree, but I definitely fall into the 'LadyLoveStringray5"s bass is better than mine club.

I’m so glad to have another female in the club.
I also love how that bass fades from hot sparkle pink to sparkle white. It keeps the pink from being too overwhelming yet it still pops . I’m more into purples and blues, but that bass is Muy Bella!!

Thank you!!! They were a Christmas present from my mom (who is originally from Kentucky so she’s right there with you on boots) and “saw them and instantly thought bass boots”. L’Artiste is the brand.
