I dont think minor changes will be too expensive. Things like SLO neck, painted headstock, blocks, were around $250/$300. I would assume fretless would be around the same or maybe slightly more. But that is all I know. I only know this because of email exchanges when I ordered mine. Some things I could order now, most I could not . I do wish the Brulee had black headstock like the Raspberry burst & Smoked Chrome. The Green & Red basses with ebony boards just do not speak to me.
That actually sounds pretty reasonable! I’m at a point where I’ll have to sell a few, including one of my stingray specials, for it though, I just have too many basses at this point
That is what I did. I’d rather have what I really want and fewer basses than more and not be content with the more.
Interesting . I was wondering if my neck with painted amethyst sparkle headstock was the one displayed at NAAM Design Experience display.
Good possibility, I mean, how many of them could they have made/had requests for in that time?

It's been a blast seeing the influx of new 2024s and hearing how members are enjoying them - and showing them off. But we all have our own reasons for buying, selling, or just keeping the status quo (as I've been doing, successfully so far but with a lot of difficulty 
). What matters here is that we're enthusiasts! 
That's one of those finishes that just demands a matching headstock and, thankfully, they delievered. Some of the other new finishes make the same demand but for some reason have a normal headstock. A great eample is the Genoius Gold. They goofed up on that one!
There seems to be a hint of sparkle to that color. Am I seeing that right? Really engaging.
Agree 100%You made a rational decision based on circumstances. No one can fault you for doing what you have to do. And I'm sure everyone here would encourage you to continue to hang out.
FWIW, there are plenty of us who are still "in the club" who have been watching the buying spree rather than joining in.
I was going to ask if this was different than the former Charging Green offered a few runs back. But I can see this is a different hue. Much brighter and bigger flakes. Nice!!
If you buy another Special at some point , great . If not , no worries. What matters is that you have your Retro, you have your Classic 5, and you have back your ceramic HH. That’s 3 nice StingRays. You’re still doing alright in my book. Thank Goodness you are not StingRayless.
