Link still not working for me. I’ve tried several searches on their website . I wasn’t really interested in buying . Just wanted to get a good look at that finish .
Europe. Maybe the 70th anniversary edition is limited to European customers only, thus limiting the visibility only to EU IP addresses?

My name is Jeff, and I'm (apparently) a Special-holic. ("Hi Jeff!") It wasn't always this way. I've been playing a long time and tried many different bass brands over the decades, but always seemed to return to my Fenders and FSO's. I have a fair amount of excellent basses (about 9 right now), and have always made a practice of alternating my basses daily when playing at home. If playing out, I'd pick the one I felt would be best for that particular gig.
But now I seem to have a problem (albeit a first-world problem). Now that I have two HH Specials, all my other basses are being neglected. I love these things so much that they're the only ones I now seem to get excited to pick up and play! I feel guilty about neglecting the others, which are all fine basses in their own right. There - I've said it!

Anyone put in a custom shop order in late May get theirs, yet? Getting antsy (I know, I know, 4-6 months but I can hope)!

Well, I ended up in the 'Ray camp because that Wal, great as it is, is about 11 pounds. I got a 2011 5H which was a little lighter, but when the new colors came out earlier this year for the 'Rays, I had to get that Hot Honey. Was gonna get the 5H, but a 5HH that was 8 pounds 4 oz came up on Sweetwater and I couldn't pass that up. I'm glad I got it, as the two pickups just offer so many more tonal variations. I then sold my Stambaugh Designs fretless 5 because, as good as it was, I just really like the massive humbucker sound that 'Rays and Wals have.
I still play the Wal but it gets equal time with the 'Ray now.
Hot Honey is stunning!!! I used to have a G&L SB-2 that was similar to the new Hot Honey StingRays. Probably shouldn't have sold it...
That look sweet! Here's mine... If you look up the Hot Honey 5HH on the EBMM site, it's my bass, which is making me wonder if it's the first Hot Honey 5HH.
