Got a mobile phone? So the Ebow emits a magnetic wave.. couldnt this harm you physically?
I actually know one guy who got kicked out of his tenure position because he wrote a bunch of pseudo-science articles about magnetic fields' effects on health.
If you are afraid of magnetic fields, I don't know how to say this, but.....

Consider this tragic example of the dangers of ebow use. Here is Michael Manring who was once a legendary bassist who was taught by Jaco.
You can see him here using an ebow.
Now you can observe the immediate damage to his mental faculties in the very next song. He is suffering extreme confusion and keeps percieving his bass is out of tune causing him to retune mid-song some 6o or 70 times or so.
Also note the complete inability to establish and maintain a solid groove. I have seen him live and the guy cant even perform a simple 1-5 alternating country bass line. His bass playing skills are all lost from over exposure to magnetic waves from the ebow.
Poor guy. Don't end up like him.
Clearly electricity is some magical force about which "scientists" have no clue. Burn that young lady as a witch...she's consorting with the devil's blowdryer.
