EBS fafner and TD650...

Hi,

I really like the EBS products,but I don t see the differences between the fafner head and the td 650 one.

Can you say me ?

i must admit that i have yet to play a fafner... however, i found the 650 a bit too bright with the bright switch on, and a tad too dull without it. i got tired of fiddling and just gave up... i'm sure there is a happy medium in there though. ymmv...

On the flipside I've never played through a TD650, but I own a Fafner. It's an extremely warm and vintage-sounding head with lots of power - very "all-tube" sounding.

I think, the fafner head is better for me, il really like the tube sounding.

Uh...the TD650 DOES have a tube in it. The TD stands for: "Tube Definition". The TD650 is a more modern sounding head while the 650 is geared more towards rock-sounds.
