the stanwah definitely has the lowpass. it really appears to be a wahone upgrade - a significant one. It has the volume and lowpass modes of the wahone, but adds highpass and boosted bandpass, and replaces the "tube sim" and "hi-Q" switches with knob controls

I knew about the WahOne. But it has always been that little bit too much for me to shell out for. Now with this new one being red, it might be enough to tip me over the edge. I'm not trying to say that I have a problem with black pedals, but all wah pedals are black, you know what I mean?

What is the 105q then, a ghost? That shizzz white! :p

Now that I'm using the moog lpf, the Stan Wah has fallen off my radar, though I'm still anxious to hear the verdict on these things when they come out-- Where these supposed to start shipping in February or April?

No, I bought one about a 6 weeks ago... tried it for about two weeks, tried real hard to like it, but returned it for a refund after deciding that it was truly meh... for $350, I thought it should sound better.

The problem was that it just sounded to thin to my ears. I tried for 2 weeks to figure out how to make it sound that way I wanted, but to no avail.

I bought it at Bananas at Large in San Rafael CA... my old one is still there in the display case.

I never heard the Wah One, so I can't compare... my not liking it doesn't meant that you or others won't think it's the bomb. I wanted to use it for doing a wah-wah thing while playing a slappy version of Higher Ground, but I thought it sounded too thin and the range of sweep not pronounced enough.

These are still only sold by a few sellers. I finally got my hands on one and I love it! Seems to me that the frequency controls are very flexible. You can get a ton of different filter sounds out of it. It's a keeper! Worth the wait.

Now I suppose you people will want clips!
