Yes it does...in the Hi-Q mode. That is kind of a manual controlled (with the foot) envelope filter.

I think the distinction is that Alembic does not engage "sponsored" or "supporting" artists. They made a bass for Stanley, that became known as the Stanley Clarke model, but you will never see Stanley's smiling face in an Alembic ad, trying to sell you one. Nor does Alembic pay Stanley.
