For years, I used to carry one of those Husky folding razor blade things. It was great when it had a new blade in it, but they snap so easily that it became tiresome. They're nifty when they're new, though.

Anyone else tried a Katsu. MIJ, titanium with a carbon fiber insert, and quite expensive (same price as a Benchmade). Spectacular quality of fit and finish. It a piece of art. Hefty, thick blade, you could hack up crates with it, but it's too pretty.
I just got mine, and I'm amazed.

Zero Tolerance 0200ST all day every day. . Ok, I know...using this to open feed sacks and cartons is kinda like driving an armored Hummer to Walmart. Unnecessary, but comforting. If/when I need a fixed blade, I fall back on an issue Camillus kabar they gave me in 1968.

I just received one of these...

I already had a Proelia drop point, so I figured I needed a tanto blade, too.
Kind of like owning a P-bass and 'needing' a Jazz bass.

I've got a few fixed blades but it's always a folder for me. Can't go wrong with a Gerber. Even if it's a cheap one

Picked up this Kershaw for $16 on Amazon cyber Monday.

It looks like it's still on sale. Pretty good deal, I'd say.

I'll mention that the Benchmade above replaced this one:

A cute Tanto that was dirt cheap, but somewhat heavy. I do like the skulls, though. I'll probably keep the Kershaw above as a backup.
