I have it narrowed down to the TT 800 and WD 800. I play a lot of slap bass and prefer a lot of low end so I can feel the notes. The TT 800 is the deepest between the 2? Also is more of a tube amp? And has 2 different channels?

Eden vs Mark Bass vs ?

Quite different tones... the TT is based upon the Bass 400+ (Fender-style tone stack), WD on the WalkAbout. I prefer the WD800; the flat tone is more neutral and the tone controls are similar to Eden's World Tour amps. The second channel on the TT is similar to the D800, but with a tube in the circuit, and it offers a bit more flexibility having two channels. Probably a good idea to try both as they sound quite different. Both have tube preamps.
The WD and the TT both have tube driven preamps and solid state class D power amps. The WD is based on the Walkabout amp that had a tube preamp. The TT or Boogie channel is based on the 400-400+ all tube bass amp while the second channel is based on the D 800+ amp only with a tube in the preamp, something the D+ doesn’t have.
With the TT having two preamps it would be the most versatile.
The D800+ amp has no tube preamp and it’s said to sound thicker and quicker than the WD or TT and folks that like slap like it. Although with some knob movement the WD and TT can sound thicker as well and be used for slap but with their tube front ends can add more texture and seem to not feel as quick.
Well maybe it sounds like the D800+ might be what I'm after. Wish I could play these before buying.
I like the WD myself but I am going through an old school phase right now so that amp works for me. I have not played any of the others but I do hear those that have tried both the folks that like more modern tones with heft and quickness seem to like the D+.
I’m not a big slap player but I do have some moves and can get a very decent slap tones out of the WD but for someone whose forte is slap may like that D+ better.

The other thing the Mesa's all have is 2ohm operation. That comes in really handy when you start stacking multiple cabs.
I have no reason to doubt you. It's not just the amount of air it moves, it's that sound. Been so long since I have heard one, but I remember a strong punch, probably low mids. Like my Markbass on steroids.
People that have a much better understanding of speakers/cabinet design/etc. than myself have stated that a big reason those cabinets sound so bad ass is unfortunately related to the heavy weight...not just from the ceramic cones but also the cabinet itself.
Nope. They didn't have that one in stock. Im guessing the 104HF 4x10 has deeper bass?
The dual front ports make a big difference. Even going from the Eden 210XLT (dual front ports) to the 210XST (single front port) there is a big difference.
Those ports punch.

Have you tried a Markbass 210 combo? The CMD 102, specifically? The whole combo weighs about half of what the Eden cabinet alone weighs and it cuts like a knife.

does have one in stock. I'll give her a test drive. Thanks!Eden cabs are very hard to beat in terms of sound. Especially the XLT models. A lot of it comes down to the cab design itself. David Eden was designing speaker cabinets for various companies before ever getting into drivers or putting speakers into the cabinets he designed. He designed the SWR Goliath cabinet before making Eden's own bass cabinets. Cabinet design and driver paring is a science and art. David nailed it with Eden. Companies do not make cabinets like that anymore so nobody get close to that sound. Not to say that modern cabinets don't sound fantastic. If you're looking for that Eden tone, there's only one way to get it.
Anybody who has used my Eden cabs has fell in love with them.
If you do not mind the weight, find yourself some XLT cabs and enjoy them. I am not married to Eden amps though. I think Gallien Krueger amps are a perfect pair to Eden cabs. You can find Eden cabs from the good days when they were made in MN for cheap. Used GK amps are also inexpensive. Just stay away from the "backline" stuff.
