Eden WP100 Navigator for $199?

Still way over priced Bob... wish those guys in MN still had their job.... then I'd see buying it (Which I did back in 04 BTW at that price)

I'll take my Streamliner 900 built in AZ. I'll pay extra for US labor, not outsourced Chinese labor to pad the pockets of CEOs.

Behringer VampPro for $699? Nope, $189 where the cost savings are passed on at least.

Its too bad, oh well... no need to beat a long dead horse of Eden anymore, good luck fellas & keep posting the deals, appreciate it OP, sometimes the deals are for real

No cancellation notice for me yet, just a backorder notice.

Bassjam, what you're saying more firmly puts this, at least for me, in the realm of a consumer protection issue than a mere contractual issue.

Yeah could be.Really not a biggie for me as I really didnt need it.But one thing-I dont usually order from MF or music123.This is an extreme case maybe but.....I dont like the thought of knowing they can essentially cancel any order really, claiming a misprint.

Again Im not upset in the least.I kinda had a feeling it was too good to be true. But I think Ill stick to the TB classifieds and my handful of music stores for my gear needs.

Tunaman,

I don't know all the ins and outs of outsourced products, but I tend to agree with everything you've said above.

But many here thought (and were lead to believe) this was a US made Eden.

Anyway, I guess everything that needs to be said has been said. It has been a good read.

Hey for real-You just passed along what looked like good fortune.I personally thank you for keeping us all in mind when you found a deal. That was cool of you to do!

I received a cancellation notice today. I emailed them back with a copy of the online transcript from their customer service department in which the person with whom I had the online chat stated
Kyle: "I do see that our previous prices for this item were much higher, but we do have this listed in our billing system for that price.
Me: OK Thank you
Kyle: This should be the guaranteed lowest price anywhere."

So my question is how can they claim it was an online publishing error when their customer service representative stated that the price of $199 was accurate and listed as such in their billing system. I asked them to honor the price or I would contact the attonry general and the FTC.

I just called MF to see what they would say when I told them that I called in my order so that I could verify that the price was'nt a misprint and that she said the price was confirmed by a manager at the time, well the person that I was talking to today said that he would present these facts to a manager and see what he could do,they came back to me and said that they could not honor the $199 but could discount the Navigator down to $629.
Oh well worth a shot huh?

I say live with it. I've always been the first to jump on a sale, but a misprint? Come on....
I really got turned off to the predator mentality as a store (shop) owner. You really get to see the worst in people from that angle.

My order was cancelled too.

Personally, I'm not comfortable getting a great deal if it's on someone else's back. If someone screwed up here, the higher the cost to MF, the greater the likelihood he/she will be fired. That said, I have no problem with getting a deal if it just eats a tiny percentage of a healthy profit margin - I would not feel bad if an oil company screwed up and sent me a large check!
