Eden WP100 Navigator for $199?

I'll take my Streamliner 900 built in AZ. I'll pay extra for US labor, not outsourced Chinese labor to pad the pockets of CEOs.

Unless something has changed with GB and the Streamliner series, all of there product is made over seas.
None of it is made here in the USA.


That being said, it's horrible what has happened to Eden over the past 5-years.

I never said that there was anything wrong with any product made overseas, I was simply pointing out that the person who made the post about his GB amp being made in the USA was mistaken

just to settle the genz benz thing, there is manufacturing of parts done in taiwan, but final assembly and inspection is done in arizona. at least that's what roger said the last time this came up.

Thanks, just luck of the draw, I think maybe because my product number was a little different they didn't think to look for it. Now I can sell the ART Mic pre I bought as a bandaid.

Bassjam, what you're saying more firmly puts this, at least for me, in the realm of a consumer protection issue than a mere contractual issue.

well we as consumers are as much to blame as the companies. some will pay for american goods, but as a whole, all we want are good prices. that's why squiers and mim fenders outsell american fenders.

The WT/Nav EQ section is amazingly useful, and incredibly powerful.

If you want a sense of the WT fromt end, you should try my WT-800.

Thanks for the comments. I haven't had much time with it but I generally like it. For now it's being used as a recording preamp. I don't have a power amp or cab to connect it to.

It's also much more advanced than what I'm used to so I'll hold any serious comments about tone etc until later.

Generally, I'm totally happy. I paid more than this for a low end tube mic pre last winter and of course the Eden sounds much better.

It's too bad more people didn't get them, kind of chucked some ice water on this thread, but it was a fun read and sitting here wondering if it would actually ship gave me something to look forward to.

I'm still negotiating with Musician's Friend. They offered me the opportunity to purchase the WP100 at a great price. I sent them a response telling them that in addition to the mix up on the price, I was also misled by their customer service department representative who told me that the head is made in the U.S. I contaced Eden and they told me that cabs are made in Kentucky and the heads are made in China.

Made in China does not have to mean inferior construction and parts.
If it sounds fine-noise noise, crackle, etc-and it runs fine...no prob by me and I'd totally have obught one if I were going back to a 4 space rack, I'da been all over this.

I got one of these from Amazon early this year when they were $350 for about 20 minutes. I think that someone reversed the price and the discount amount. It's been great sounding and trouble free ever since. I'm not crazy about the size, but it has a lot of features to put into one preamp.
