the late rickbass hated wah with a passion.
I love manual wah, much prefer it to any auto/filter IMO.
I hated fuzz for quite some time, but then played in a grunge band with really sludgey, metal-meets-Mudhoney riffs and a Big Muff in that situation sounded great to add some noise to it all that a cranked OD couldn't.
Don't really like Flangers or Tremelos, reverb seems a bit pointless.
Chorus, in any setting, I like - the only 'nice' effect I'm gassing for.

lol yeah. if i was into it i'd get one too but yeah. it's just like one of those love/hate relationships, some like tremolo , some don't. Just matter of taste
